Arrivée à Tazzarine après l’étape marathon, dernière soirée entre roses, c est la fête sur le bivouac. Émotion, fierté, bonheur, tristesse aussi (c’est fini) les sentiments se bousculent. Samedi, départ pour Marrakech et l arrivée officielle. Nos familles, nos amis nous attendaient : confettis,
arrosage en bonne et du forme ; nouveau moment d’émotion ! Nous terminons 36ème au général, contentes de notre performance.
Depuis 2 jours, nous sommes en mode récupération avant de repartir demain lundi pour la France.
Ce fut une belle aventure humaine, solidaire et physique. Encore un grand merci à Riri et Cricri, nos enfants, nos partenaires et amis pour leur soutien ! Grâce à votre aide, nous avons pu aller au bout de ce beau projet.

Mercredi 18 et jeudi 19 octobre : étape marathon

Après 2 jours de pistes en totale autonomie, qui nous ont menées de Merzouga à Tazzarine, nous sommes arrivées vers 16H00 au dernier bivouac. sniff sniff !
Nous avons poursuivi pendant ces 2 jours notre découverte des merveilleux paysages marocains.
Hier soir, nous avons bivouaqué au milieu du désert : feu de camp, apero, victuailles, partagés avec des copines et 2 invitées (1equipage égaré),un grand moment sous la voie lactée !!
Pour les résultats, il va falloir attendre demain !

Mardi 17 octobre : boucle spécial Begaa

Départ à 7h15 pour une bonne cause : le cancer du sein, parlons en ! Le trophée des roses soutient cette association et comme chaque année, nous avons fait une superbe photo dans les dunes (à découvrir sur le site du Trophée).
Puis en voiture pour une étape d’orientation : 157, 2 kms de pistes tantôt lunaires, tantôt sableuses. Un cocktail de désert comme on aime ! Nous nous sommes ensablées, nous avons aussi desensablés des équipages, bref nous avons beaucoup pelleté… Mais nous avons aussi admiré de merveilleux paysages, comme d’habitude.

Lundi 16 octobre : Etape 6 – les dunes de l’ERG CHEBBI !!

Petite excitation, voire tension, ce matin au départ : 49,42 kms de dunes et sable avec tantôt une navigation au cap et une piste balisée. Merzouga, nous voilà !
La journée a été chaude, très chaude, surtout quand il a fallu sortir les pelles et les plaques sous le soleil de plomb pour désensabler notre 4X4 (2 fois !!) ou celui d’autres équipages. Pourtant, nous avions mis toutes les chances de notre côté en mettant le véhicule en courtes et en dégonflant les pneus à 1 kg.
Pas de frayeur pour nous, que du plaisir ! mais pas sur que ce soit le cas de tout le monde (avant écrasé, pare-brise éclaté, 4×4 en devers….).
Puis détente au bivouac et un petit apéro pour se remémorer et partager les bons moments et les émotions de la journée.

Dimanche 15 octobre : Etape 5 Wonder Woman

Départ à 8H30 pour une liaison de 55,9 kms suivie d’une étape de 162,6 kms mixant dunes, oueds et plateaux rocailleux. Aujourd’hui, nous nous sommes appliquées à la navigation… nous avons pris notre temps, vérifié le cap régulièrement en prenant soin de descendre de la voiture pour éviter toute interférence.
Nous avons traversé de somptueux paysages, rencontré des nomades, croisé des chameaux. Un autre continent !

1ère étape samedi 14 octobre : Errachidia / Merzzouga

La journée d’hier a été très dense. Départ à 8H30 pour 61,3 kms de pistes vers Aoufous, puis liaison de 75,7 kms pour arriver à Aroun, petit village isolé qui compte 80 familles. Nous étions attendues à l’école par l’association Enfants du désert. Nous avons déchargé tous nos dons. Plus de 7 tonnes de marchandises ont été acheminées par les Roses : Produits d’hygiène et de puériculture, matériel médical, matériel scolaire, vêtements, jeux,… Nous avons partagé un couscous dans une famille où nous avons beaucoup ri avec les jeunes filles de la maison malgré la barrière de la langue. Puis, nous avons passé un long moment avec les enfants dans leur salle de classe, nous avons visité la crèche, financées par Enfants du désert. Cette journée solidaire a été très riche humainement et elle a donné tout son sens à notre démarche. Les rires, les échanges, nous ont fait chaud au cœur.
Nous avons repris la route pour une dernière liaison de 35,7 kms qui nous a conduits à notre bivouac au pied des dunes de Merzzouga. Majestueux ! mais la journée était loin d’être terminée…
20H, départ de l’étape de nuit : 11,5 kms de pistes au cap sous les étoiles, pas évident !!!
Extinction des feux à 23H, bien fatiguées les Roses mais de belles images plein la tête.

Ce matin, réveil aux aurores : 3h15. Direction le port d’Algerciras. Fabuleux de voir toutes ces grues éclairées : on se serait cru dans un décor de Marvel, on a cherché IRON MAN !!
Débarquement à Ceuta, formalités douanières et départ à 8H pour 730 kms de liaison. C’est long !!! mais quel paysage grandiose… des falaises majestueuses, des roches blanches, grises, ocres, rouges et le soleil qui vient sublimer l’ensemble. Définitivement, l’Atlas est un endroit SOMPTUEUX et MAGIQUE.
Arrivée à Elrachidia à la nuit tombée. Bivouac au milieu de… on verra demain, car pour l’instant, on ne voit rien… mais le campement est sympa et les tentes accueillantes pour une nuit de repos bien méritée.
Demain, 1ère étape de navigation au cap et journée solidaire dans un village avec l’Association Enfants du Desert. Un beau programme.
